[Invited Event]
Last week I was invited by the kind folks from Watsons to check out their Girls Day Out event at NEX Atrium which was launched in conduction with Watsons 27th birthday!
Girls Day Out was the perfect opportunity to check out not only the latest health and beauty brands (such as cosmetics, hair, skincare and beauty supplements) but also to grab some great deals!
Some of the products we managed to try and check out were:
Kinohimitsu was the first booth we checked out. We tried the Kinohimitsu cocktails and I really liked the Diamond Nite drink. As someone who used to consume collagen drinks previously, I thought that the Diamond Nite drink tasted good! I bagged home both the Kinohimitsu EyeBright, a powder supplement to improve one’s eyesight and Kinohimitsu’s JointPro360, a supplement aimed at improving joint care. Both powder supplements were pleasant tasting especially EyeBright.
On display, there was Colgate Optic White Plus Shine range. Apparently, this formula is upgraded from the previous Optic White range.
While the Manuka Doctor CC Cream looked really interesting, we didn’t manage to try it. Perhaps next time!
Eucerin also introduced to us the Eucerin Volume Filler Range which is a non-invasive way to well, fill your skin!
Loreal Paris showcased it’s Revitalift Magic Blur Instant Smoother Anti-Aging Moisturiser. This anti-aging cream boasts to be able to combine instant effect and long-term efficacy in instantly blurring one’s pores, lines and imperfections in just 4 weeks.
I had previously met the folks from Vichy previously before however at the event, they shared with us their latest range, Vichy Ideal White which aims to prevent dark spots and enhance the skin’s whitening balance from within.
While I had always checked out Bio-Essense 24K Bio-Gold Series while visiting Watsons, I have never purchased it nor had the opportunity in testing it. I thought that the Bioessense 24K Bio-Gold Platinum Dual Cream was really handy as both the day and night cream are conveniently “packed” into one container. Great for trips too!
I’m no stranger to the Cetaphil range as my mum buys the moisturiser often for me to use for my eczema. I bagged the Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleansing Cloths which I felt was really convenient for me to pack along to work/outings/travels!
Asience gets a makeover! Or at least from the last time I used it :p We were quickly introduced to both the Inner Rich (for dry, frizzy and unmanageable hair) and the Nature Smooth (for oily scalp and tangled ends) ranges.
Watsons also launched Bene Bluria and Rougeria, a premium haircare targeted at treating damaged manes. Cute packing and lovely scent!
This should be no stranger to you guys! Watsons very own in-house Hair Pro which is targeted at combating damaged hair due to constant heat application.
KATE TOKYO also showcased their black feather lash (a mascara), Kate Flash Crush (eyeshadow), Limited Edition Kate Super Sharp Liner (love their eyeliners!) and Kate CC Lip Cream. We have all heard of CC Creams and CC cushions but this was my first time encountering a CC Lip Cream! Hope to be able to try it soon!
Another new and exclusive premium haircare range that was introduced at Watsons Girls Day Out was the Honeyce which is also by the MoltoBene Group. Again, the packaging caught my eye and the scent was lovely for those who love fruity scents. Both the Honeyce Moisture Repair Series and Honeyce Juicy Spa Series contains lemon honey (thus it’s name) and are 100% made in Japan with high-quality natural ingredients.
These are just some of the pictures and products I tried at Watsons Girls Day Out. All of us bloggers bagged a lovely bag of products and I’ll be reviewing some of them soon!
Aside from the many products and brands showcased at the event, Watsons also launched their very first Watsons eStore located at www.watsons.com.sg. Simply shop anytime, anywhere at Watsons very own eStore and arrange for free delivery with a minimum spending of S$80! There will also be deals and gifts with purchases available at the eStore, just like in the physical brick and mortar stores!
For more information about the Watsons eStore, do check out their website.
Thank you Watsons and Huntington for the lovely invite!
