As promised in one of my Outfit of the day posts, here’s the Neapolitan Ice-cream nails tutorial!
For those who are clueless and unsure what Neapolitan Ice-cream is, here are some examples.
But instead of using white (or vanilla), I used baby pink instead!
Here are some stuff required.
Nail polishes.
Scotch Tape. Please use the Matte version.
First, paint your nails. Base coat and the colour that you’ll like to use to form the “middle” of your Neapolitan Ice-cream inspired nails. Most people would choose white or cream but I went with baby pink.
Tape one side of your nail and paint the brown chocolatey colour. Repeat for all nails. I used a quick drying topcoat and waited for the nails to dry before proceeding to the next step.
Paint the other side, bright pink for yummy strawberry. Repeat for all nails.
You may need to touch up on some areas. Please ensure polish is dry before pasting the tape. Apply a layer of topcoat.
There you go! Neapolitan Ice-cream inspired nails!
Simple to do and extremely kawaii! I used this tape manicure method to paint my nails a P-plate design. The tutorial should be up next month. Look out for it! 😉
I hope you guys enjoy my tutorials. Do let me know if you’ll like to see any specific tutorials and I’ll try my best!
Do check out my previous Newspaper nails, Polka Dot nails and Salmon nails tutorials. 🙂
Nice tutorial babe! I like how simple it is… with scotch tape and 3 complementary color polishes! Ok, shall have to give this a shot too! 😀
