Dear Jace mentioned she felt like going for a holiday and within a few days, we booked our trip! We had initially discussed with Fidelis but she couldn’t make it in the end 🙁
We called it the “Girls Gone Wild” trip because we went ahead without our boyfriends’ approval. Hurhur!
We traveled by Tiger Airways and Jacelyn gave me a huge scare! I thought she wouldn’t be able to make it for her flight due to the huge traffic jam but.. we made it in the nick of time!
We took a cab from the airport to our hotel instead of the more economic option of taking the skybus to KL Central as we were rather tired.
We had booked Apple Hotel but realised later it was really tiny! The pictures were rather deceiving!
The “outside”
And… the tiny room.
Seriously cramped! And there’s no wardrobe whatsoever.
Tiny washroom.
We suspect it’s a love motel because…
1) Really tiny
2) No towels/wardrobe etc. You can request for towels from the front desk (but it’s on a first come first served basis) but it’s extremely tiny and thin.
3) See through washroom
See! I can see bff here!
Our hotel was situated in Jalan Alor, place of many yummehs. We later found out from a Twitter friend in KL that it was the red light district?
We felt safe and sound though! Everywhere was just food!
Both Jace and I decided to have a late night supper before turning in.. We decided to try Loklok! Even though it looked… rather unhygienic.
Nothing special and was really expensive! Meh.
That ends day one of our girls gone “wild” trip in KL. hahaha. Not wild at all! :X
Check out day two soon!
P/s: Pictures from both Jacelyn and I 🙂
Dear nadnut,
It was great to hear some comments on Apple Hotel!
