It’s been a while since our last staycation. While most couples go for babymoons, Skai and I didn’t have one. Reason being, 1) BFF and I had planned for our Korea trip eons ago, 2) Skai and I just went to Maldives for our anniversary and lastly, when we finally decided on a short trip, 3) I had some bleeding and we decided not to travel.
We decided instead to go for a staycation, staying put in Singapore. Luckily, the kind folks from Shangrila Singapore hooked us up with a fab offer!
They recommended the Time Out Weekend Staycation which consisted of the following:
A room with the garden wing with an awesome view.
Also, bonus points as they provided a maternity pillow!

Well-stocked minibar. However, some of these are chargeable!
Love that they have a bathtub! A staycation feels weird without one!
Brought my own bath bombs! And erm flower petals for the ultimate experience. Was so heavily preggers, a good long soak was sorely needed!

Overall, I loved the whole experience. The service was great, the room was extremely comfy and I loved that they took note of my condition and provided a maternity pillow!
Would I go back? Definitely! If you are looking for a comfy and relaxing staycation, do check them out! Plus, the fact that Shangri-La Hotel Singapore is located in town, it’s extremely easy to go to Orchard for shopping, movies and just jalan-jalan.
