We napped and freshen up and soon it was time to head off for lunch!
I was damn psyched about lunch for we were heading to the famous Bills Woollahra!
More info on that later, first up, some pics!
Us on the bus.
Jen jen took a pic of this place. Beautiful pic!
Our handsome companions for the whole Sydney leg.
Oooooh. Why is Rod wearing a Harley jacket? Details will be revealed in the next episode!
Jen jen wanted to take a pic of me but I wasn’t ready so I made a face at her. LOL! Pree, Audrey and Joyce in the background too. lol
My silly BFF and meh.
We’re finally here!
Apparently Bills was known as the IT place. Where the cool, hip and apparently rich and famous people hang out at. Bill Granger’s latest restaurant, Bills Wollahra opened in June 2005.
Not a very flattering pic but I just wanted to prove that I WAS at Bill’s!
Jen jen and I took our own sweet time camwhoring and by the time we got in, we realised that we had the worst seats.
Why? That’s because we were in the sun. :/
It seemed that only a few of us were “enjoying” the afternoon soon. Oh wells.
Lemon lime bitters to cool me down!
I am the next Nancy Drew! Everyone was guessing what was poor Jenny allergic to and I guessed it was Lemon lime bitters! We had an experiment and I was correct!!

Pic of the menu.
Jen was so excited about ordering the corn fritters. I was then thinking what’s so great about corn fritters? I’m obviously not a corny person. LOL. ignore the pun please. π
Sweet corn fritters with roast tomato, spinach and bacon.
I took a bite of this and I totally changed my mind. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY DELISH!!!!!
We shared a few other starters like the…
Ricotta hotcakes with fresh banana and honeycomb butter. Nice but Pancake Parlor is better. π Maybe I’m bias. (because Pancake Parlor serves with icecream!)
Scrambled organic eggs with sourdough toast.
Not a fan of the runny scrambled eggs kind but I think most of them really enjoyed it. (My mum LOVES runny scrambled eggs. She was drooling at this pic.)
I never did get to try the Semolina-fried calamari with fennel, zucchini and lemon salad.
By the time it reached our side, there were only veggies left! :/
The place is so beautiful!
I really won’t mind spending my lazy mornings here. This just feels like one of the places/cafes that the fantastic 4 from Sex and the City would just gather and chit chat the whole morning away.
It then started drizzling and the very charming waitor managed to get us a table cleared and all ready! We then moved indoors. No more hot sun shining on our faces!
I was seated at one end of the table and the radio jocks were at the other end. Look how animated Jon is! He’s damn funny! It’s a pity he only accompanied us for one day. π
Uncle Jimmy! He doesn’t say much usually but he’s really sweet! Jen jen and i always disturb him to get him talking. :X
Here comes out main courses!
I ordered the linguine with prawns, asparagus and lemon in garlic butter.
I love garlic butter and I love prawns. Needless to say, this was a great combination!
My evurl twin had the Wagyu beef burger with tomato chutney, onion jam, beetroot, vine-ripened tomato and herb fries.
Uncle Jimmy had the seared yellowfish tuna salad with blistered tomatoes and black olive dressing.
Looks good, tastes good!
I can’t remember what’s this. I’m guessing it’s the spatchcock?
I still can’t remember what’s this and I’ve been looking at the menu but I really can’t guess what’s this. It looks like either fish or chicken. π
Happy, satisfied us.
Fab ambience, fab food and fab service.
And of course, I’ll rate it FAB! π It’s a little bit pricey to me but it’s worth every cent! The service crew was charming, friendly and very attentive. That is real service from the heart.
