As mentioned in the previous post, Jen jen and I had a rather interesting experience on the Flowrider. No bikini but how about a tankini instead? (Apparently Tiger’s colleague has been asking for bikini pics. I shall now call him Mr Bikini.)
Basically the Flow Rider is supposedly a simulation of surfing. Jenny and I had a very bad feeling about the Flow Rider and turns out we were right!
A pic of me and my very patient instructor. So here goes nothing!!!
Going down…..
FAIL!
FAIL! (and head got knocked during tumble with the divider after this)
Even though I was smiling, I was hurting like HELL!!!!!
The instructor giving me another shot. He hasn’t given up on me!
SUCCESS!!!!!
Jen jen and I. Victims of the horrendous Flowrider.
We had bruises everywhere! The knees especially. I got scratches all over my body, knuckles and a lil cut under the eye! I remember hitting the board, the divider and the back many many times.
We are definitely not surfers. It was nice though for we had the Flowrider to ourselves for a good hour. In usual circumstances, the Flowrider is open to all and many people would be trying the ride at the same time. I bet I would have caused accidents. LOL. Jenny has many vids of us on the Flowrider. We probably would post the videos when we’re back from the trip!
Spotted Spongebob and Patrick!
All cleaned up. One of the many outfits of the day!
I bought this uber cute tiger hairband. The lovely lady beside me is Alicia from Dreamworld. Great fun!
Jen jen and me. She bought the koala headband!
Jen likes to take pics of our backs!
We then had lunch at the Billabong restaurant
It was a rather simple lunch buffet. Quick and good.
I love Dreamworld! I can’t wait to come back again!!!!
Signing off! Nadia and Jenny will be back in the next episode! Day 2 Episode 3: Vroom vroom wheeeee! Check out Jenny’s blog @ unexpectedaustralia.blogspot.com! She has returned to the blogging scene (for this trip!). Please give her a very warm welcome!Cheers!
Woot! Your tankini is very kiut!
Getting bruises is not much fun … but you have to admit that the flowrider is a memorable experience 🙂
