Ching Chong Hubby is a HUGE steak lover. I decided to surprise him with a dinner at Morton’s Singapore located at Oriental Hotel for his birthday aside from the Staycation at New Majestic Hotel.
I had bluffed him that I had not made any plans and recommended we just find a makan place at Marina Square instead. Something simple I told him.
He was super surprised when I waltzed into Morton’s and had a reservation. :p
And he was even surprised to find some glitter and confetti on our table.
And this. Just to clarify, his birthday is actually on September 11 but we celebrated it earlier as it was on a weekday.
I had ordered the Steak and Seafood Menu for the both of us as it came highly recommended by my colleagues Jimmy and Carol.
Morton’s is such a nice place to eat at however it had the suckiest lighting. It was super dark and yellow that I had to use the flash to capture my pics else it’ll look like shadows. :p
Our steak and seafood main. SCALLOPS! STEAK!

The set was great. No complains whatsoever. SUPER GOOD!
A pic of us 🙂
The kind people at Morton’s threw in their Chocolate Lava Cake free as they knew we were having a celebration. So sweet of them!
This normally costs $30. SHIOK AND GOOD. MUST ORDER!
They also took a pic and printed it out for us. Really nice of them!
I think I’ll go back often for celebrations, it’s really a nice place! Good food, great service.

Hi, is that a set dinner? Can I know what’s the damage per pax?
