Singapore Staycation at Hotel Re!
The kind folks from Hotel Re invited Skai aka c(hubby) and I to experience their Re!ally Really Fun Staycation promo.
Disclaimer: While this Staycation was sponsored, I was not expected to review the hotel.
Skai and I were no strangers to Hotel Re. We visited Hotel Re on a couple of occasions. I visited Hote Re for a blogger event sometime back with the #MysteryMakan girls, Skai and I took a look at Hotel Re and considered as one of our venues for our wedding dinner aka #nadskai1314. Last CNY, we also visited their bar to chill out with his cousins.
#FoodieFridays: Guo Tie and Mala in Chinatown
Last weekend, Skai aka c(hubby) and I were craving for Guo Tie. We had initially wanted to visit the famous Guo Tie place at Neil Road but yours truly delay delay delay until we couldn’t make it in time.
So… we were at a lost at first. Didn’t know where to go but we HAD to have our Guo Tie cravings satisfied.
I whipped out my trusty iPhone and started googling. Landed on a HardwareZone thread titled Guotie aptly and we soon made our way down to Fong Kee located at People’s Park Centre.
Hungry Heroes – A SuperHero Themed Restaurant
I was extremely excited when I received a food tasting invite from Food News PR and Hungry Heroes.
Not many may know this but I used to work in a Gaming Company for 3.5 years (well, if including the first time I was there, then it would be a total of 4.5 years). One of the games that I had planned for was DC Universe Online and I had the pleasure and honour of even visiting Sony Online Entertainment in San Diego, USA. Was planning for the launch of that game for about a year.
Coupled with the fact that I genuinely liked Super Heroes (lao niang used to read comics wor), I was super excited!
