As some of you guys may have remembered from my Things to Do: Pamper yourself post, I mentioned that it is very important to visit a sauna or Anti-Oxidant Centre before one’s big day to reduce water retention.
As you can see from my pictures, I didn’t look puffy. I felt good and I think I didn’t look THAT fat or puffy :p
I think it’s because of my:
– Low carb diet (less bloating)
– Running, helps my weight loss
– Weights and personal training, helps tones me up
– Ganbanyoku sessions at Anti-Oxidant Centre which helps reduces my water retention
I remembered Pamela shared with me once that sauna is a MUST before any important photoshoot. She mentioned that even the slimmest person can also suffer from water retention. I remembered her advice and I promptly visited Anti-Oxidant Centre with Ching Chong Boy a few days before my ROM.
I also tried out their hot yoga previously and it was extremely tiring! It felt good working out AND working out a good sweat!
