The kind folks from Amoy Hotel invited Skai aka c(hubby) to experience a lovely Weekend Staycation with them.
Amoy Hotel is a boutique hotel located fairly near the Chinatown MRT Station.
What was cute about Amoy Hotel aside from it’s heritage decor is the usage of surnames for the rooms. Skai and I hunted for our respective surnames and took pictures with it. #Cheapthrill
We enjoyed the AMOY weekend Singapore Staycation which includes the following:
• 1-night stay in Deluxe Double Room (Modern Chinese Heritage-themed room)
• Complimentary Dinner at JIN Fine Dining
• Buffet breakfast
• Paired mini-wine
• Mini bar
• Internet access
• Local calls
While AMOY Hotel may not offer a bathtub, I was extremely pleased by the size of the room. Not only were drinks included in the minibar, the bathroom was generously sized!
The AMOY Weekend Staycation also came with dinner at the famous JIN Fine Dining. I took the liberty to take pictures of the menu to share. We ordered a set of the Sashimi & Saba Shiokyaki and Sashimi & Tonkatsu to share.
The set usually comes with Miso Soup but Chef Thomas ‘upgraded’ our soup that day.
The Sashimi was extremely fresh and almost melt in my mouth.
He also served us his famous pork dish which at first I thought was weird to be served in a Japanese Restaurant but when I tasted it, I swear it was like a party in my mouth. The pork was beautifully seasoned and was extremely tender. I WANT TO EAT THIS AGAIN!
At $268, I’ll say that it was an extremely value for money deal considering that it comes with a lovely dinner for two at the renowned JIN Fine Dining.
f you’ll like to check out the hotel, here are the deets:
