The kind folks from the Park Hotel Group invited Skai aka c(hubby) to experience a lovely Staycation with them.
Disclaimer: While this Staycation was sponsored, I was not expected to review the hotel.
I had actually stayed at two other Park Hotels previously. I had booked the Grand Park City Hall for a Birthday Staycation with the hubby and was invited by Grand Park Hotel Orchard to host my bridesmaids staycation previously. Needless to say, I was extremely excited to see how Park Hotel Clarke Quay would fare against it’s sister hotels.
Park Hotel Clarke Quay is located closeby the Singapore River and is in Clarke Quay entertainment precinct. Park Hotel Clarke Quay is positioned as a business hotel. The hotel has 336 rooms and suites, a 25-metre outdoor pool, adjoining Jacuzzi and various restaurants within the hotel.
As we were gonna stay in a Superior Room with Crystal Club facilities, we did our check in at the Crystal Club instead of the lobby. Love hotels with Club Lounge facilities and welcome drinks! #cheapthrill
Enjoyed some tea and biscuits at the Crystal Club while enjoying the view. I must repeat again, I really love Club Lounge facilities. You can always go there for drinks. Most Club Lounges offer free drinks, happy hours where there are free selected alcohol, canapés and snacks during tea time.
The Crystal Club privileges are:
- Personalized Check-in and Check-out at the Crystal Club
- Buffet Breakfast served at the Crystal Club from 0700-1030hrs
- Complimentary afternoon tea at the Crystal Club from 1500-1700hrs
- Complimentary Hors d’oeuvres at the Crystal Club from 1730-1930hrs
- Complimentary 02 pieces of laundry (excluding dry-cleaning and pressing service), non accumulative per day per room
- Complimentary unlimited broadband internet usage in the room
- Light refreshments and non-alcoholic beverages at Crystal Club throughout the day
- Usage of computer work-stations at the Crystal Club
- Complimentary 1-hour usage of the Club Boardroom per room per stay (subjected to availability)
Snacks available in the room. Chargeable, of course.
Our room was a Superior Room which was extremely cosy with the comfortable bed. However, I would have to say that I was surprised to see that the room did not come with a bathtub. However the rain shower made up for it. 🙂
We checked out the rest of the facilities and was extremely pleased to see that they had a 24 hours gym. (we did go for a run at midnight that day!)
Park Hotel Clarke Quay also had a beautiful pool.
We soon retreated to the Crystal Club again as it was Happy Hours time.
There were wine, alcohol, beer, soft drinks, juices and tea for us to choose from.
And also lovely light bites. It was extremely filling for us!
For dinner, we visited Cocobolo for a barbecue buffet dinner.
Great selection of meats that were extremely well prepared.
Cocobolo is offering a BBQ dinner on all Fridays and Saturdays. It’s like a meat mecca! As you can see in the pictures above, they offer a fine selection of perfectly grilled juicy meats and seafood. Some of the offerings include Australian Strip Loin, Lamb Rack, Whole Chicken, Fresh Tiger Prawns, Arrow Squid and more.
The buffet dinner starts from $52++ per person.
Book your Valentine’s Day Seafood Buffet Dinner for two at S$168++ (includes a glass of wine and a bottle of bottega pelato)
before 2 Feb to enjoy a night’s stay at Park Hotel Clarke Quay at a special rate of S$150++ per room per night on room only with an upgrade to a Deluxe Room with late check out at 2pm. For Reservations, please ring +65 6593 8829 / 30 / 31 and quote NADBLOG for reference.
After the delicious dinner, we took a nap. And well, went for a run hours later because we felt way too sinful. LOL.
The next day, we enjoyed the buffet breakfast at the Crystal Club.
Lovely buffet breakfast! Good selection and impeccable service.
Look at the amount of food we had! (and yes, my tee says ‘Feline. Meow’ LOL)
What’s my overall take about Park Hotel Clarke Quay?
Wonderful experience. Service was top notch. Staff were friendly and great hospitality rendered. Food was lovely. Perfect location for a bridesmaids or birthday staycation. One can go have a few drinks at Clarke Quay and retire for the night at the hotel.
My only preference is that the room came with a bathtub, honestly. But with the whole experience, that was just the tiniest thing.
Highly recommended for a Singapore Staycation!
