Remember my previous Outfit of the day entry?
Here’s the post on Shunji Matsuo‘s Glam Me Up Style Session event held at Shunji Matsuo Hair Studio at The Heeren. I was there with Jace along with other bloggers Trixy and Clara.
We were treated to a yummilicious japanese buffet spread before commencing on our hair makeover. <3
Shunji san shared with us what styles would be flattering for the different face shapes.
He also introduced the latest hair trends in Japan.
It’s not all talk and no action! Shunji san and his stylists gave all of us a mini makeover! They showed us how to create different trendy hairstyles using our current look!
Here’s my current look (back then).
And here’s Clara’s before look!
Love her braided fringe!
Bff’s before look!
And here’s my “revamped” looks!
Odango in progress.
Tadah! It’s really a different look for me as I always leave my hair down, hardly have my hair up! iLike it!
Check out the girls’ makeovers!
Clara’s “flowerful” hairstyle!
Jace’s simple and sweet look!
Trixy has 3 different looks! Head over to her blog to check out her diff looks!
I got a second look! I had wanted to try the braided look and my stylist kindly accepted to my request!
She first curled my hair and started braiding! I tried braiding on my own but it’s really tiring, admire her man!
My braided “hairband”
The final look!
Pics with the girls!
Thank you Shunji Matsuo and Dunbar-Jones for the educational and fun event! Looking forward to see more events! 🙂
P/s: Pics by Jace, Clara, Trixy and me 🙂
The second hairdo for you looks like a lot of work and are you able to do it yourself without a hairstylist? I am talking about the braided look.
