Usually every December, the boy and I will be traveling to Bangkok to party away but this year, we found a bit hard to get away. We then decided to go for a staycation!
We had found out about Oasia Hotel from Eevon and with the current Oasia Weekend Promotion, we thought it was quite a good deal!
Oasia Hotel is conveniently located next to Velocity. Great area, near town and there’s lots of eateries nearby.
We had booked a Club Room. We had went to the reception desk and was ushered to Level 22 instead to check in and check out. Much lesser people there, we managed to beat the queue!
Level 22 was exclusive to Club floor guests. This was where we had access to The Living Room (where drinks and light snacks were available all day).
I’ll cover more about The Living Room later.
But first, here’s our Club Room!
Big comfy bed!
Huge ass TV!
iPod/iPhone dock! Complimentary internet access!
The view from our room…
Check out this cabinets! You’ll never guess what’s hidden inside!
TADAH!
Nespresso machine and fully stocked minibar at no cost! Similiar to both Quincy Hotel and Wanderlust Hotel!
The bathroom.
BATHTUB <3
Some of the items available:
I loved it that they provided a loofah!
Thann products! When I was working in Grayling (a PR agency), this was one of the accounts I handled!
The best thing so far?
Can you spot the roses at the side?
We were surprised by this!
WOW! How did they find out about this?! Bravo to them! ChingChongBoy and I were very surprised and touched. Thanks Oasia Hotel 🙂
Since we were located near town, we headed out and did a bit of shopping.
We then headed back to the Club Lounge for an evening cocktail before dinner.
Here are the yummy munchies available!
Totally regretted whacking the cheese platter as I was too full for dinner after that!
We went for our buffet dinner at Zaffron (their in-house restaurant that serves international cuisines).
Because I was too full, I just whacked the smoked salmon, salmon sashimi, maguro sashimi, cucumber soup and cheese platter while the fiance happily whacked the food such as the roasted dishes, sashimi and all.
There was bread…
my fave cheese platter… MUST TRY!
Salad, smoked salmon, ham and light starters…
The staples..
The delish roast station…
Yummy desserts.
Good food and great service.
This very kind waitor Ashok made sure that we had an enjoyable experience. He made sure every guests really enjoyed themselves.
Enjoyed a comfy bath and had a good night sleep.
The next day…
We headed to Level 8 to check out the pool and gym. Sadly it was raining then and we couldn’t go for a swim!
Looks so gorgeous! Why did it rain?! 🙁
We then sneakily took some pictures of the 24 hours fitness centre.
We then trooped off for breakfast. It was really comfort food for the soul.
Cereal…
Yoghurt…
Ham and smoked salmon again! <3
Sausages and mushrooms..
Scrambled eggs and grilled tomatoes..
Pancake and fried rice…
And my fave cheese platter!
Really enjoyable staycation! Do check out the Oasia Hotel Singapore Weekend Package! There’s a 10% discount currently!
I was really touched when they called me after I checked out. I had left my necklace in one of the cabinets and they had bothered to contact me to pass it back to me. Thank you Oasia Hotel for the great service, good food and honestly. 🙂
Hi Nadnut
