The kind folks from Lancome invite me alongside other bloggers to their recent Hypnose Star mascara launch at Sephora. I brought back a lovely goodie bag which I’ll be reviewing.
For this entry, I’ll be reviewing Lancome’s Mat Miracle Light foundation and Hypnose Star Mascara. You’ve probably heard of the Lancome’s Teint Miracle Natural Light Creator liquid foundation, this time, Lancome has created a newer, better and bolder version called Mat Miracle.
This formula is developed especially for Singapore’s (to be exact Asian) climate. The formula is longer lasting and is able to withstand the crazy heat and humidity. The kind folks of Lancome mentioned that Mat Miracle is able to resist shine, sebum, heat and is able to last a good 25 hours.
I put Mat Miracle to the test here. Here’s my freshly “put on” face.
I did not use it for 24 hours, but I went out for a good 12 hours. Here’s the pic of me at the end of the day!
I thought that Mat Miracle was very comfortable to use, it wasn’t cakey at all. While my eye makeup had faded, my foundation was still intact despite running around like a mad woman in this crazy humid weather. I used the Beauty Blender from my Black Box previously and it was super easy to apply. For those who are interested in Mat Miracle, you’ll be glad to know that it comes in 10 Asian-specific shades and will be available at all LancĂ´me counters from April onwards. Mat Miracle will be retailing at S$66 onwards.
Here’s a vid I did. First errr vlog? LOL! Sorry for the crappy quality and noisy background. Oops.
The other item I will be reviewing is the Hypnose Star mascara! What makes Hypnose Star so different from other mascaras is the flat and oblique sides!
The two sides helps to obtain both longer and thicker lashes.
I noticed that it was easy to coat my lashes without clumping unlike other mascaras that I have used before.
Thank you Lancome for inviting me for your event, looking forward to trying more of your other items soon!
heyyyy Nadia!! long time no see! i also used the Lancome Teint Miracle (the original one), I thought it was me only, because despite all the rave reviews on makeupalley, i just didn’t like it as much cos it feels very thick on the face… guess this new one is the same as well.

Hey nad, u shd invest in an eye primer, if u love shadows and colors on ur eyes! I recommend urban decay or I can try too faced eye insurance too. A little of the primer before applying the shadow keeps it intact all day long! No more smudges or lines..
