Review: July Black Box

Are you guys ready for Black Box’s July’s edition?

This month’s box is so full of lovely goodies that I couldn’t help but squeal when I first saw it! (And yes, the colleagues shot me weird looks. LOL)

For those, who are wondering, what’s Black Box all about… It’s Singapore’s first unisex sampling box, which is FREE!

Sample boxes offers a variety of items mostly in sample sizes (though there are a few in full size versions) for you to well, sample! Best way to try things out and later decide what works for you! Not only are there products, there are also vouchers!  Black Box has sent out more than 8000 FREE Black Boxes right to the doorsteps of their subscribers to surprise and entice them with an all-rounded sampling experience & useful vouchers with lifestyle deals and discounts since their first launched our 1^st edition in February 2013!

They have also sent out 2000 Black Minis to their subscribers in June and July & have conducted more than 14 rounds weekly giveaways via Giveaway Friday on their Facebook Fan Page! As a typical Singaporean, I love my freebies! Thank you Black Box for continuously spoiling us 😉

Some of my favourites for this month’s box.

1. Cetaphic Gentle Cleanser

Not many people know this… but actually I suffer from eczema. It’s mainly on my back and is extremely painful at times. I have been using Cetaphil for years. Been using the cleanser and the moisturiser to try take away some pain and also keep it moisturised. I love Cetaphil as it does not contain soup and is extremely gentle on my skin. This size is really handy. I keep it with me at all times in my bag just incase my skin is painful and I need a quick cleanse. Black Box! Pls pls pls come out with a sample version of the moisturiser!

2. Take 5ive energy

Actually I tried Take 5ive sometime ago, courtesy of my friend Smith! There are two types of Take 5ive, one to give an added brain power boost and the other a surge of energy in it’s immunity drink. Both drinks do not contain sugar and come in two different flavours: Mixed Berries and Citrus.

3. Lierac MesoLift

This is a Vitamin Enriched Fondant Cream which is enriched with AHAs to help boost skin’s radiance. I thought that it really help me look less fatigue. Currently am using it as a makeup base!

4. Super 3 pack Coffee Sachet

The hubby is a huge fan of White Coffee. When I first received my box, he immediately snatched the coffee sachets away from me. T.T Our personal favourites would have to be the Roasted Hazelnut flavour. It’s very rich and smells heavenly!

5. Colgate Plax Fruity Fresh

I really liked this new flavour! Really different from the usual mint mouthwashes. It’s a perfect size! I keep it in the office so that I can gargle right after lunch. No nasty smelly mouth after eating my favourite Saba fish anymore! I definitely want to stock up on this!

6. L’Oreal Elseve Extraordinary Oil

I reviewed this actually awhile back! I love the Extraordinary Oil as it helps tame my frizzy hair and also moisturises my hair ends! It doesn’t leave any oily residue and isn’t sticky at all! <3

7. Purer Skin Miracle Serum

I’m almost hitting 30 and as I grow older, I know the importance of skincare. I love serums as I feel it moisturises my extremely dry skin. I use this day and night and after a few days, i feel that there is a difference! I no longer feel that tight feeling on my skin anymore and i feel that my makeup is now easier to apply! I have been searching for skincare products for my dry skin and Purer Skin will definitely be one of my favourites! Pssst. It’s also paraben free! <3
