Who says Dating in Singapore is boring?!

Remember the previous entry where we made Happy Flags?

Who says that Dating In Singapore is boring? The last time, I found out that National Library Board was organising Pop Up Craft Parties (which were organised by In Merry Motion!) and I dragged Skai aka c(hubby) down to Bedok Library to do the Happy Flags!

This time, I found out that the final Pop Up Craft Party was at the National Library and they will be conducting String Art!

Needless to say, I was extremely excited for String Art! It looked good and it was honestly quite mafan to do at home, so to be able to craft at a workshop where all tools were provided, sounded awesome!

As it was limited to only a certain number, yours truly behaved in a true blue Singaporean way by coming down early and queuing.

We chose from 5 templates available, I chose heart while he chose travel! First we had to trace the template and then later knock in nails! Skai did a better job than me with the hammer and nails. Guess he really did nailed it. :p

After that, we used wool to wind it around the nails. Funnily, Skai had a hard time here. He actually said ‘I can’t do this! There is no system to this!’.

Engineers :p

I took over this part to his relief. This was actually the best and most fun part to me!

We really enjoyed ourselves! Am also keen to try out other crafty stuff! I’m looking at trying out floral arrangement and calligraphy too! Do comment if you know of any other workshops!

We are also looking at doing more stuff as a couple together. I think it’s really fun and different! Also helps us grow and understand each other more! If you do know of other fun activities, do comment here! After all, I don’t believe Dating in Singapore is boring!

It’ll also be fun for us to create some stuff for our future home next year. Home decor perhaps? 😉
