After Fidel’s Mystery Makan where we had Korean BBQ and drinks, it was time for Esther’s Mystery Makan!
For long time blog readers (if you are still reading this dusty old blog that is), you would probably remember about the Mystery Makan series I used to blog about.
Back in 2010, I started this #mysterymakan tradition with Jacelyn, Esther and Fidelis. Each of us would take turns planning makan outings and would only reveal the address on the day itself with no other details. With the Mystery Makan tradition, we visited new places and tried new food! It’s really fun and we all look forward to our Mystery Makan sessions.
Just a recap of all of the “Mystery Makan episodes” I blogged back then in this Singapore Lifestyle Blog.
Other Mystery Makan sessions previously:
- Eat Play Love
- Table Manners
- Ardent’s
- Old School Delight
- Queen’s Dessert Cafe Bistro
- Epicurious
- Box N Sticks
- Tea Cosy
- Barracks, Dempsey
- Porn’s
- Nanjya Monjya
- With a Pinch of Salt
- Bodacious Bar & Bistro
- Sushi Kou
- Social Place
- Yi by Jereme Leung
- The Summerhouse
- Korean BBQ & Drinks
It’s been a while since I last blogged about MM, oops! But it’s also been a while since we had one! Due to the current restrictions, we can’t dine out more than 2 pax so MM has been on a pause.
It’s been more than a year since this MM, if I’m correct!
For Esther’s Mystery Makan, she chose Alati!
She only gave some clues about the place being white so I dressed in light colours! Paired this cute MDS romper with light wedges from Melissa shoes & Stars Luxy bag!
And white indeed! Alati is a greek restaurant, I think this was our first MM in a greek restaurant. I was lowkey excited as I really enjoy greek (alongside spanish, mexican, arabian) cuisine!
Mandatory group pic before food pics!
I won’t pretend to remember the food dishes nor try to share some insights about the food. To be honest, it’s been a while and I can’t remember specifically about the dishes. However, I do recall that the food was not too bad especially the fish! Do check out the menu and the prices here.
Always fun with my girls! Can’t wait for the next Mystery Makan!
