For our third anniversary (in March), Ching Chong Boy and I decided to visit USS. It was a Wednesday and we took leave on that.
We were deliberating whether to pay a bit more for the Express Pass and decided to do away with it after all.
We arrived at USS way too early and camped at Coffee Bean for some breakfast.
Thankfully it wasn’t crowded. The tour groups only started coming in after lunchtime and by then, we completed all of the rides.
We “aimed” for the popular rides like Transformers, Battlestar Galactica (both human and cyclone), the Mummy’s ride and the water ride Rapids Adventure.
Felt a bit nauseous at the Transformer ride. Either, i was too full from lunch or my motion sickness condition decided to kick in. :/
We had brought ponchos originally but Ching Chong Boy’s poncho tore (and he felt that the ones sold there were far too expensive for his liking) so the poor boy got soaked during the ride.
We did the typical touristy thing of taking pics everywhere.
We catch the 4D Shrek show which was really cute!
Taking a break at Madagascar.
Went for lunch at one of the cafes..
Extremely delish and affordable meal!
My outfit of the day!
Great experience, i love thrill rides and it was fun! Not sure if i’ll be back anytime skin thiugh… Perhaps if there is a new ride!
We left USS with a great big smile on our faces. We had dinner at this great laksa. Steamboat place (ala carte though. Not buffet) near Vivo.
Great anniversary with my love 🙂
Awesome! Although I worked on the Transformers ride and was doing light readings in the structure while it was being built, can you believe that I’ve not actually ridden it yet?
