[Invited event]
Who says Dating in Singapore is boring? Skai aka c(hubby) and I love exploring new places and even try out new activities. When we got the invite to have a hands-on cooking class at ToTT Studio, we decided to try it out!
After all, our place will be coming soon and we’ve decided we should cook often rather than eating out all the time!
All ready to start cooking!
We had two dishes to make that day. The first was Bakwan Kepiting which was actually Clear Chicken Broth with Shredded Bamboo Shoot and Pork Meatball.
Our recipe!
He looks dangerous with a knife.
Okay, so did I.
I thought that it was really fun cooking together! As a couple, we learnt to compromise and make up for each others shortcomings.
For example, I was bad at making those pork balls and he took over. Other couples might have tsk-tsked or nagged but Skai didn’t do that! Glad that he wasn’t impatient with me :p
Almost done!
Esther was there with her partner too! I was stealing some of her soup here :p
The final outcome! Yums!
The second dish we made was Ayam Buah Keluak! I’ve heard so much about this dish but have yet to try it!
It was a much more tiring experience making this dish but it was definitely worth it.
Happy c(hubby)!
Thanks ToTT for the invite!
We also checked out ToTT’s 4th Anniversary Sale and snagged a Mayer AirFryer for only $98!
I’ve already tried baking with it and have made Nutella Cupcakes and Chocolate Lava Cake! Will blog about them soon.
Check out the free gift from ToTT :p (It’s actually Miu Miu playing in the plastic bag!)
ToTT is also having 1 hour cooking demonstrations. Do check out their website for more info.

I realised a lot of #nadskai pictures are about food! We also checked out FIJI Water Lime Truck Pop-up some time back!
The Lime Truck, winner of Food Network’s “The Great Food Truck Race” collaborated with FIJI Water and Kerbsite Gourmet and was in Singapore for a weekend! I wished that there were food trucks in Singapore. It would be extremely handy especially for offices located in ulu places!
How was your weekend? Did you had a foodie weekend like us? Are there any activities or places you’ll like to recommend? #nadskai is always looking for new adventures.
