Skai aka c(hubby) and I have a little tradition. We must end the year with a good meal and start the year with a good meal. To basically set the tone for the rest of the year!
I dayre-ed my last meal of 2015 and also my first meal of 2016. Resharing it here!
Hello from #nadskai! Treated the hubby to a delicious meal at Saveur!
Although we both ordered the festive set, i couldnt help but order the Saveur Pasta as a main for us to share!
I think fellow noodle lover BFF will love this too! Bff! Lets go next time!
Also ordered the truffle mash to share! Which was extremely creamy and delish!
Skai’s starter was the salmon confit!
While i had the apple foie gras
We both had the tenderloin! Medium rare for him, well done for me.
Desserts were extremely delightful! We had the white chocolate creme brulee! Must try making this next time!
Final bill was about $100? But it was definitely worth it!
Look at how happy Skai looks! Hahaha
We may not be able to countdown to the new year in our usual fashion (i.e. Drink, dance, club, party) but we’re at nearby Gardens by the bay to catch the fireworks!
Here’s to starting 2016 with a big bang!!!!
We celebrate every new year together. Be it clubbing (majority of the times), house parties or even just snuggling together.
This year, we caught the fireworks together. I had thought we would be staying in and watching Orange is the new black together but he had made plans for us to go to nearby Gardens by the bay.
I love fireworks. I always did. Was silently pleased that he remembered so. We held hands while watching. This would be our last celebration between the two of us.
Next year, ready or not, we will have little baby aidan in the picture.
Am just blessed to have counted down to the new year, catching fireworks with the guy who has brought so much fireworks in my life.
To a blessed 2016!
(Oh i will need a new hashtag for the 3 of us in future. The Sims would not be ideal though, as it’s a game too haha. Any suggestions?)
Am at Pince and Pints!
Our #nadskai tradition is to have a good meal to end the year and a good meal to start the year!
Saveur yesterday, lobster today!
Have never tried the lobster roll before.. Found out that they have a special currently.. The truffle roll!
The truffle roll doesn’t disappoint! Do get it before it ends! Think it’ll only be here till end Jan…
Only disappointment was it was too little! Skai was barely halfway through his chilli lobster when I finished! Stared at him eating hungrily. #greedypreggers
My happy hubby. Hehe.
His chilli lobster! Reminded me of chilli crab lolololol
Was good with the mantou especially but the sauce became watery after a while due to the juice from the lobster..
Attack!!!!!!
Satisfying meal!!!
Ending the day with bingsoo! The c(hubby) been bugging me to try this place for like forever…. And finally we did! Tried the Injeolmi Bingsu! Noms.
Missing Korea again!!!
This was our last meal of 2015 and first meal of 2016! How was your first meal like? Do share! Would love to hear from you!
