The kind folks at FeedLot invited me down to try out their food! I called along the c(hubby) alongside future Punggol neighbours Fidelis and Leon for a #foursomefun at FeedLot!
FeedLot Steakhouse Bar and Grill is tucked away in a cosy part of Tanglin. If you found the name rather familiar, that’s because they used to be called Swiss Grill when they resided at Bukit Timah!
I think FeedLot’s ambience is great! A cosy place where you can enjoy a good heart to heart talk with your loved ones!
We had such a hard time choosing what to eat because everything sounded so yummy!
Started off with some yummy appetizers.
Beef Carpaccio. Paper thin shaved beef tenderloin topped with aragula salad, smoked salt, drizzled with citrus honey balsamic. S$19.
Simple dish that totally whetted our appetite!
Scallops and Prawns. Pan seared scallops and prawns on cauliflower mash with capers sauce. S$18. SUPER SHIOK. Definitely a must try! The prawns and scallops were so fresh and delightful!
Char-grilled tenderloin salad with sweet lemongrass soy. Tenderloin grilled to perfection on top of fresh mesclun salad, tomatoes, olives, drizzled with sweet aromatic dressing. S$20.
This was extremely filling! I think it would make a perfect meal for small eaters! For just S$20, I think it’s extremely value for money!
We enjoyed the house red wine together with our main courses.
The c(hubby) has the T-Bone (S$75) which was humongous! When you compare to my Wagyu rib eye and Fidel’s veal, definitely the T-Bone was a bit tougher. However, it was huge and for c(hubby) who has a huge appetite, he thoroughly enjoyed every bite of this!
Fidelis had the Milk-fed veal rack chop which was imported from Holland. Tender, juicy, natural light pink coloured meat char-grilled to perfection, she mentioned it was really juicy and delish! At only S$48, it was quite a great steal!
Wagyu Beef Ribeye MB 6/7 S$89. This was grain fed for a minimum of 400 days! This was definitely worth it! The meat was super tender and I thought that the pricing was quite reasonable for it’s size!
Leon had the Char-grilled lamb cutlets. French cut sovereign 5 stars tender lamb cutlets char-grilled to perfection and served with vegerables. S$45. He mentioned that it was cooked to perfection!
We also ordered truffle fries, mac & cheese, mushrooms and creamed spinach to share. Big nono! The portions were so huge and we couldn’t finish our food!
Duo pudding plate. Dark & White chocolate lava pudding with chocolate and vanilla ice-cream S$14. The portions were rather small however I thought that it was rather unique that they served dark and white chocolate lava pudding!
We really enjoyed ourselves! Thank you FeedLot for hosting us! Enjoy 10% off when you quote “nadnut”! Only valid for the first 50 readers who quote that!
