I got invited to Watsons x DHC’s event at Cooklyn sometime back. It was a fun event where not only did we get to put on cute lil chef hats and also learnt a lot about anti-ageing and the importance of collagen.
Together with my darling Fidelis, we got our hands dirty and we loved it!
First order of business? Put on a swanky apron and our chef hats. No chef is complete without an outstanding hat!
We made three dishes, all encompassing a very important ingredient: The DHC Collagen Powder
I’m a fan of collagen products, have tried Meiji’s Collagen Powder, Fancl’s Tense Up and DHC’s Collagen Beauty 7000+. Been taking these products in preparation of my wedding photoshoot. Usually I take them in their raw format or mixed with juices but it was the first time trying a collagen powder mixed into my food.
We mixed it in a yummy ramen dish and conjured Baked Buttery Mentaiko Ramen in Parcels which was absolutely delicious!
We also sprinkled a healthy amount inside the assorted sushi maki rolls.
And also mixed it in a yoghurt anmitsu with fresh fruit. Very refreshing!
Super fun session with these lovely bloggers! Hope to get them to know them better soon!
My favourite part? Enjoying a yummy sorbet with DHC’s Collagen Powder with my long time friend, Smith!
I received DHC’s Anti-ageing Series which consisted of:
– DHC Kakonjuka Lotion S$39.90
A hydrating toner which helps to hydrate and soothe the skin.
– DHC Kakonjuka Essence S$48
This moisturing serum helps reduce fine lines and wrinkles. To be used after lotion.
– DHC Kakonjuka Cream S$44.90
Jampacked with rich botanicals, the nourishing cream helps to fight the signs of ageing, improve skin elasticity and density.
– DHC Collagen Beauty 7000+ S$44.90
Have been taking this with Fancl Tense Up to prep my skin. Tastewise, I prefer Fancl’s but DHC’s is more economical to my pocket.
Aside from that, the kind folks at Watsons also sent me a lovely gift when I couldn’t attend their Beauty Day Out event.
Super #happyparcelday <3
