The life sciences scene in Singapore is growing stronger and stronger. And in fact, I remember reading an article which mentioned there is a huge shortage of talents in the biomedical industry.
It is important to constantly grow and nurture such talents. Without them, we won’t be able to find a treatment/prevention to so many plagues these days. For an example, take a look at the number of vaccines these days. I for one, am immensely grateful to them.
If you’re interested in life sciences, you should consider enrolling in one of the four part-time Life Sciences degree programmes offered at PSB Academy: Bachelor of Science (Biomedical Science), Bachelor of Science (Chemistry), Bachelor of Science (Molecular Biology and Biotechnology) and Bachelor of Science (Pharmaceutical Science)
And what better place to study all this but at PSB Academy? I checked out their labs and it looks really impressive. In fact, I’ve found out that PSB Academy has invested over two million in their labs!
These courses are offered by the University of Western Australia. Did you know that UWA belongs to the prestigious Group of Eight, a collaboration of the top research universities in Australia? Not only that, UWA has been ranked first in Australia for the quality of its undergraduate students and second for the quality of its undergraduate programmes.
PSB Academy has been offering these undergraduate degrees in Singapore since 2005.
If you like to find out more about the courses, do check out the free information session which will be conducted by Associate Prof Thomas Martin on 31 March, 7pm.
