Last Wednesday, I managed to catch Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist courtesy of Nuffnang and I brought Fidelis and Jayden with me. What? You’ve never heard of Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist? I first caught the trailer with Fay when I was at my favourite (cheap) Sashimi place and I thought it looked pretty interesting.
It was not your typical love story, it actually had a morale behind it! I shall not say what it is in case I spoil it for those of you guys intending to watch the show.
Let’s talk about the cast members! Do you recognise the 2 main leads?

You’ve probably spotted Michael Cera in many different shows, one of the most memorable one would have to be Juno.

He has to be the nerd that everybody loves!
And the other main lead is…
Kate Dennings! She looks so hot in this picture!
She acted in The House Bunny! I could hardly recognise her!
So what’s this show about? Basically it’s a romantic and feel good show coupled with good New York underground music. Without giving too much away, basically it’s about finding your music soul mate and also knowing when to give up the past to move on to the future and of course there will be obstacles involved.
I really enjoyed the show as it gave me that sweet romantic ‘first love’ kind of feel. It’s not one of those super drama love stories or unbelievable movie plots, it’s basically something you can actually relate to.

After that, the three of us spent some time catching up, had supper (oh so sinful!) and chatted and gossiped for a few hours. 🙂 I prefer small gatherings than big ones. Great way to catch up 🙂
