For our birthdays, we typically book staycations. For SimPa’s birthday last year, I had booked Crowne Plaza Changi Airport. For this year, he had asked me which I wanted for my birthday and I chose Andaz Hotel.
We had booked it thru a popular booking site and SimPa had used his Singapore Rediscover vouchers. We had booked the City View Room which came with dining credits.
Honestly, the queue for checking in seems like a huge turn off due to the long queue. However there were ample seats around and the queue moved fast. So props to the front office team for the speedy service!
Room is spacious and the kids loved that there was a separate wardrobe area. They pretty much played hide and seek the whole time. The view was amazing however I wished that the room came with a bathtub.
I also loved that the room was big enough for in-room dining.
As Alley and Mr Stork was fully booked that day, we decided to order room service to utilise the dining credits.
Food was good and enjoyable!
We also managed to visit Mr Stork separately. Would highly recommend going back… without the kids. HAHA.
Overall, a lovely experience. Very gorgeous view and beautiful hotel! We are going for another staycation this weekend for Aidan’s birthday! Can’t wait!
