I visited Batam for a short 2 Days, 1 Night trip during the Easter weekend. I had borrowed a Panasonic GF2 and took some pictures during the trip using the special effects. methinks it’s very nifty! No need to photoshop. hurhur. Ching Chong Boy had puchased a groupon offer which included a half day tour. Not too bad. We made friends with some of the people in the group and had a ball of a time. 🙂
Pics of my batam trip below!
While waiting for the ferry…
It was a fairly short and smooth ride.
While waiting for our tour guide…
Pictures of the Kwan Im statue near KTM Resort
Pretty elephants!
No editing done!
Apparently Polo is freaking cheap there. “They” say it’s the original stuff. Not 100% sure, I’m not into brands so I didn’t buy anything. Was happily munching on cheapo fish crackers while the ladies stomped in and bought the whole store.
While at the Go-Kart area… Amazing how the different modes made the pic look so different!
While waiting for the rest to finish their ride…
The miniature park…
Meow meow!
Watched a local cultural performance which included eating glass :/
Off to lunch!
Check out my huge coconut! Lunch was superb! Yummy seafood FTW
Outside our hotel…
Our room. Spacious and clean. Rather decent 😉
The view from our room…
3 dinners. =X Don’t ask!
Cornflakes pizza?! weird.
Yummy lunch at Pizza Hut before leaving.. 🙁
