I’ve been blessed ever since I started blogging. Ever since I’ve moved my personal blog in line to a Singapore Lifestyle Blog, I have had the great pleasure of writing about many advertisers and sponsors.
I’ve been blogging about my new lifestyle change and my current weight loss journey. I’ve recently been approached by two companies who will be helping me with my new lifestyle!
The first sponsor is……. *drum rolls*
Fidelis has kindly recommended the owner Suli to me and he had invited both Ching Chong Boy and myself to try out their services!
Here’s some background info on Anti-Oxidant Centre:
Anti-Oxidant Centre is a new concept Japanese Ganban-yoku (rock bathing) spa, providing a sanctuary for the body to rejuvenate itself and give a sense of wellbeing by infusing it with vital antioxidants. Using advances in anti-oxidant technology, the interior of the shop emits negative ions which performs a multitude of remedial functions.
The benefits of the far infrared rays and negative ions from the ganban-yoku therapy include:
• Anti-aging
• Reduced cholesterol levels
• Improved blood circulation
• Relief of pain and stiffness caused by rheumatism
• Increased immune resistance
• Increased metabolic rates and weight loss
• Anti-aging of cells and overall body
• Diabetic sufferers** report reduced sugar levels after multiple treatments
• Cancer patients** report pain relief and improvement of general wellbeing** Improved health and containment of diseases are based on testimonies of people who have benefited after multiple sessions. Please note we do not claim to cure any form of diseases or illness
Researchers at Hamamatsu University School of Medicine conducted a study in 2008 of the personality effects on 68 women who used the Ganban-yoku. They found a significant improvement of the moods of the women before and after their stone sauna sessions.
Wondering how does the centre look like? Here are some pics!
Products for us to remove makeup, deodorant and body lotion!
Eucerin products in the shower stall. Bodywash and shampoo are provided.
There are changing rooms
We are given a Yukata to change in which is very comfortable.
How does it feel like?
Have you been to a sauna? Where you perspire like mad and it gets way too stuffy to breathe in?
The therapy is similiar to that, minus the stuffyness. You lie down on these “anti-oxidant beds” and you’ll perspire like mad afterwards. It works like a detox in my opinion, where you sweat out all the toxins out. Not to worry, you’ll be served with Anti-Oxidant water before and after treatments to replenish your fluids.
You can sleep, exercise or catch up on a bit of reading inside. I always bring my iPad in to catch up on my ebooks.
After the session, you will be served with two glasses of enzyme juice. These juices have different benefits and I always feel refreshed after drinking them! My personal favourite is Lemongrass while Ching Chong Boy loves Kiwi!
Personally, do I think it works?
I’ve gone for about 5 sessions so far and I feel that my muscle aches from weights and running are much lesser after going for the Anti-Oxidant therapy sessions. Ching Chong Boy on the other hand has lost 2kg after going for the sessions! (WTF why i no have?!) I heard from Fidelis that she lost 3kg and her skin has improved drastically after going for the sessions!
We’re thinking of trying the yoga and pilates sessions too!
Suli has kindly sponsored both Ching Chong Boy and myself with Anti-Oxidant therapy sessions and I will be sure to update you readers with my progress.
I understand that some of you may be a bit skeptical about this so…. I am inviting ALL of you readers to try it out for yourself! Compliments of both Anti-Oxidant Centre and www.nadnut.com
All you’ll have to do is either print out the voucher below and make an appointment or quote that you are a www.nadnut.com reader and you would like to enjoy a FREE Anti-Oxidant Therapy session!
Please spread the news and share this with your friends!
