Remember my previous entry? We visited LotteWorld that day!
Before I commence on my photoblog (i.e. spamming you with lots of pictures), let me share a bit about LotteWorld.
Lotte World is a major recreation complex in Seoul, South Korea. It consists of the world’s largest indoor theme park (a Guinness World Record) which is open all year around, an outdoor amusement park called “Magic Island”, an artificial island inside a lake linked by monorail, shopping malls, a luxury hotel, a Korean folk museum, sports facilities, and movie theaters. Opened on July 12, 1989, Lotte World receives over 8 million visitors each year and is considered, along with Tokyo Disney Resort, as one of the most world-class theme parks in Asia. Lotte World can be easily accessed from Jamsil Station, on Line 2 and Line 8 of the Seoul Subway. Located near the park is Seok-Chon Lake. (taken from Wikipedia)
The hubby had researched and found out that there were a few different rates. We decided to get the “After 4” tickets.
Honestly speaking, I thought that Dream World had better rides and Tokyo Disneyland and Universal Studios Singapore had more things to take pictures of. Nonetheless, LotteWorld was still an overall nice experience.
I may be 29 but I still love my amusement parks.
We kept seeing this and thought of getting it for my wedding next year. We didn’t get in the end.
Some of the rides that we tried..
There was also a concert but it was impossible for us to squeeze in.
Not that we knew who were performing :p
Typical tourist shot.
Spotted Pororo! Though we would have preferred to spot Haroro! heh.
We didn’t spend long in LotteWorld cause honestly there wasn’t much to do. Hopefully the next time we visit Korea, we’ll be able to visit Everland.
BFF and I thought of having a BFF trip to Korea perhaps after my wedding dinner next year! Hope to make it come true!
And oh, we spotted MapleStory skinnings at the station. Happy ten years anniversary MapleStory!
