Remember the previous “episode” where the c(hubby) and I visited LotteWorld? This time, we decided to go to Seoul Tower!
Bought this tee for him when I was in Malaysia. Hurhur. Damn appropriate eh?
We took a train to Chungmuro Station, afterwhich, we got a bit lost actually. Asked for directions from the neighbourhood police post and directed us to a bus stop near the park to take a bus.
If you are asking for directions, ask for the best possible way to get to N Seoul Tower. We obviously did not prepared before hand and got quite lost :/
Spotted from a distance, woohoo!
The place was a mess that day! There were live performances from dunnowhomaybesomekoreanpopstars.
The whole place was swarming with fans!
We made it safely to love locks area. Phew!
There are the “trees” and the “wall” of padlocks. They have this custom where couples lock their padlocks (or locks of love as you may call it) here and throw away the key to symbolise that their love will be locked forever and ever.
Some scribble declarations of love on their locks too.
You can purchase the locks there but it might be slightly overpriced. The c(hubby) and I searched for nice big padlocks but couldn’t find any…. so we did the Singaporean way. Bought a lock that was made in China.
Hurhur.
We got a kind lady to write our names and eternal (or forever) love in Korean and the boy wrote “#project1314” at the side.
Locked forever! (well, till someone throws this away or breaks it open. #cynic)
We threw the keys into this postbox.
More mushy and cheesy pics.
The hubs said if we ever wanted to get divorced, the one who initiates have to go to Korea and find the key and padlock first. o.O
Went indoors and found love tiles!
And I found this! I know it’s kinda silly. We never had couple rings when we’re dating and we already have wedding rings but with the cheesiness and lovey doveyness, I just HAD to get the couple rings.
Hhhehee! Happy nad! We wear these silver couple rings when we’re overseas. Don’t feel comfortable wearing my engagement ring overseas though :/
And so, we did. HURHUR. It says “Skai & Nadia” on one side and Forever (or eternal i dunno) love on the other.
And I also got a nadnut necklace with the word hope at the back. The meaning of my name is Hope!
That ends our adventure at the Love Locks Seoul Tower! Next entry will be on Meow meows!
