The kind folks from Touch Communications invited Ching Chong Boy and myself to enjoy a 2D1N trip to Bintan! In fact, it’s my second trip to Bintan Lagoon and I’m humbled by their kind hospitality!
The folks shared with me that this trip was way different from my previous trip.
What was different? Bintan Lagoon now has it’s very on Bintan Lagoon Resort Ferry Terminal! How awesome is that?! The new ferry terminal is mere minutes away from Bintan Lagoon Resort and is extremely convenient! We took the Mozaic Ferry Lines (from the same family of Bintan Lagoon Resort and Mozaic Hotels and Resorts) which literally dropped us off at Bintan Lagoon’s doorstep!
We enjoyed a very warm welcome alongside a welcome pack.
The various mascots were clapping around to welcome us! You can also take pictures with them! On a side note, I finally can wear midriff! YEAH!
Posing with Donald Duck!
With Bintan Lagoon Resort very close by the Bintan Lagoon Resort Ferry Terminal, one can expect to shave up to 2 hours of waiting time! In fact, the terminal is walking distance to the resort. We took a buggy to the resort!
We were served with a cool refreshing drink while waiting to check in. We got our keys shortly and adjourned to the rooms..
The rooms were exactly how I remembered them to be four years ago. While they had mentioned that the rooms had undergone a facelift, I didn’t see much difference. Each room had a balcony, a bathtub, floor-to-ceiling mirrors (extremely useful when camwhoring!) and my favourite would be the daybed!
Super comfy to nua!
We changed and made our way to Rice for the press event.
Group pic!
Bintan Lagoon Resort offers meeting facilities where one can hold a press conference, team bonding and even private parties!
We had dinner at the golf course where an elaborate outdoor dinner arrangement was made. It’s so beautiful! Makes me feel like having an outdoor wedding! Thankfully, the weather was cooling!
The highlight of the trip would have to be releasing sky lanterns.
It was my first time doing so and I was extremely excited! Both the boy and I wrote mushy stuff for each other *blush* I heard that sky lanterns are an emblem of blessing and releasing them meant to bring forth good luck!
Thank you Bintan Lagoon Resort and Mozaic Ferry Lines for having both Ching Chong Boy and me. We really enjoyed ourselves and we hope to be back soon. 🙂
For those who are interested in staying in Bintan Lagoon Resort, you’ll be glad to know that they are offering a promotional package “New Beginnings” which includes 2 nights stay, ferry tickets, massage, sky lantern session and dining credit for S$239++ per pax!
